The SVFD is proud to announce the 2nd Annual Best-In-Show Award at the 7th Annual BBQ Cook-off! Cook Teams will automatically be entered in the contest at registration.  Decorate your cook area at the event for a chance to win an award & bragging rights!  The winning team will be announced at the Award Ceremony on Saturday afternoon.  Judging for Best-In-Show will be at Noon on Saturday.

Event Rules Update

​-All jackpots must be made & cooked on-site. 

-If you have special needs, such as an RV or Camper, please let us know so that we can make space accommodations for your team! We have limited XL spaces available for your convenience at the event site. 



This year it will be a first-come-first-serve basis regarding cook team pit spaces at the event.  Once you have paid in full & submitted your application, you may select your cook space. Each open space will be assigned a red flag with a number on Friday, Oct. 4th.  When you arrive, you may pick a spot & take the red flag with you to the Firehouse to submit payment as a "walk-up team".  Turn in your red flag to reserve your spot & pick up your turn-in trays.Trays may be picked up anytime between 4 to 6pm on Friday, October 4th.
